A settlement connector posts your Amazon payouts into a cloud ledger you pay for separately — the two-tool stack runs $131–$144/mo (prices verified 2026-08-13) — and leaves cost of goods to a spreadsheet. Nexus is all three in one: each settlement becomes a balanced journal entry, cost of goods comes from the unit cost you set per SKU, the payout is matched to your bank deposit, and the month closes on a trial balance that ties — for less than the connector and a cloud ledger cost separately. You connect Amazon once, and cancel both the connector and the separate ledger.

We size your plan by your monthly Amazon order volume — the same unit settlement connectors bill on — so it is easy to compare. While we run hands-on pilots (subscription billing is being finalised), the bands are advisory and there is no auto-charge for going over; when billing goes live, exceeding your band simply moves you to the next one, with 30 days notice. You are never charged per order on top.

No. Amazon settlements, fees, refunds and reserves are pulled through the official Selling Partner API (read-only) — that sync is not metered. The only metered allowance is document OCR pages, which applies only when you upload a document for extraction. Connecting Amazon and syncing settlements never touches the page allowance.

You approve every settlement and bank match with one click; its cost of goods follows automatically when you post the sale (on by default for a new book, you can switch it off, and it never touches the bank). Manual entries post when you approve them. With two or more users on the books, dual control binds — whoever prepares an entry cannot also approve it; a solo owner posts as sole approver, and each such post writes a permanent attestation to the audit log.

Lower plans use self-serve CSV import (with one free assisted session on Growth); higher plans include concierge migration: we run the import end-to-end and reconcile against your previous trial balance.

The first 30 days are free, no credit card, and run on the plan you pick — within that plan’s limits on orders, seats, sets of books and document pages, not an unlimited trial of every tier. We connect your Amazon account with you, turn a recent settlement into a balanced, drilled-down journal entry, and walk you through the workflow. At day 30 you decide whether to continue. We run pilots manually today, so there is nothing to auto-charge; if you do not continue, your data is fully portable as CSV / PDF.

In the EU, on every plan: the database and document storage run in Stockholm, Sweden, with the extraction worker in Germany — encrypted at rest, TLS in transit, under a Data Processing Addendum + SCC-equivalent transfer terms. Your Amazon connection tokens are stored server-side and never readable by the app; we request only the finance role of the Selling Partner API, read-only, with no buyer personal data.

Once subscription billing is live, monthly plans cancel at the end of the current period and annual plans are pro-rated. Today, during the pilot phase, you can leave at any time with no charge. Either way: every journal entry, every trial balance, every source settlement and invoice is exportable as CSV / PDF whenever you want.
